SARA Foundation was established on September 1, 2025, with a strong vision to create a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of people across Bangladesh. Founded by Md. Khurshid Alam, the organization was born out of a deep commitment to social justice, human development, and community empowerment.

From its beginning, SARA Foundation set out to address the real challenges faced by communities’ limited access to healthcare, education, livelihood opportunities, and social protection. With its head office located at Praasad Paltan Square (Level 4), 3/11 Naya Paltan, Box Culvert Road, Motijheel, Dhaka, Bangladesh; the Foundation started its journey as a small but determined team with a big dream to bring meaningful change at the grassroots level.

Registered under the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC), SARA Foundation operates as a non-profit and non-political organization. The Foundation works to promote health, education, safe migration, gender equality, and community resilience through innovative and inclusive approaches.

Over time, SARA Foundation has evolved into a growing platform for collaboration, where professionals, volunteers, and development partners come together with one shared goal to empower people and build a more equitable society for future generations.
